How You Got Involved in Derby: Google. It's a fabulous thing. Really though, I Googled roller derby and found BDD, signed up for the newsetter, and e-mailed Ruby Khan for information. That was February 2009. I worked my ass off for a whole year, starting with a trainer at my gym 'til the clinics in the summer, tried out, became FRESHMEAT 2010, and the rest is history! |
